Royal LePage real estate offices across Canada will be transformed into a gold mine for bargain hunters May 15th when they host the second annual National Garage Sale for Shelter in support of the Shelter Foundation.
Last year over 180 offices participated, raising over $120,000 to help abused women and children across Canada.
This year, with the help of the community and TD Canada Trust, AMJ Campbell Atlas Van Lines Canada and Advance Commission Company of Canada, they’re poised to raise more money and awareness than ever! Giving back is a core value of Royal LePage agents, brokers and staff. Since 1999, the Royal Lepage Realtors have donated more than $10 million to support women’s shelters and violence prevention and education programs from coast to coast. In May, during shelter month at Royal LePage, it’s time to celebrate giving back to the community. Money generated by Royal LePage Network Realty Corp. garage sale goes to support our local shelter, CAWES, and provincial and national programs to stop the cycle of violence. All the money and effort goes back to the cause because Royal LePage underwrites 100 per cent of the administration costs. Members of the community are encouraged to join in and de-clutter for a cause. They can donate their gently used items at AMJ Campbell Atlas Van Lines.
